Gram Panchayat Khairi Valmazari organized a special women’s meeting before the annual meeting to increase women’s empowerment and participation in the decision-making process. In this meeting, women’s problems, needs and development opportunities were discussed. Information was provided about health, education, sanitation, women’s safety, self-employment and various government schemes through the women’s meeting. This has made the role of women in the Gram Sabha more effective, ensuring their rights are respected and their contribution to development is being ensured.
