International Women’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on March 8 in Gram Panchayat Khairi Valmazari. Various programs, workshops and felicitation ceremonies were organized on this occasion. Guidance was given on health, education, self-reliance and entrepreneurship for the empowerment of women. Also, women who made special contributions to the society were honored with the “Kanyaratna Award”. This initiative has increased confidence among women and has helped them become aware of their rights and opportunities.
