A special event has been organized in Gram Panchayat Khairi Valmazari to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali. This Diwali, special emphasis has been placed on reducing plastic and noise pollution, using environmentally friendly materials and lighting lamps and flags in a safe manner. The villagers have been presented with vegetarian, pollution-free eco-friendly alternatives for decorations, lamps and colours. In this, an appeal is being made to buy ethical and organic colours, lamps, etc. from the farmers’ market to celebrate a sustainable Diwali at home. This initiative will create a sense and understanding of environmental conservation in the joy of Diwali, and a safe and sustainable Diwali will be celebrated for the environment.
