Gram Panchayat Khairi Valmazari has undertaken the construction of a drainage system (sokhpit) for proper drainage management of rain and sewage. This initiative will help increase the groundwater level by percolating the water into the ground. The construction of the drainage system will reduce the problem of water logging on the village roads and improve cleanliness. Apart from this, the breeding of mosquitoes and the risk of diseases caused by stagnant water can be prevented. This initiative is becoming an important step towards eco-friendly and sustainable water conservation.
