Vermicompost Project under Solid Waste Management – A Sustainable Step for the Environment!
Gram Panchayat Khairi Valmazari has started a vermicomposting project under the solid waste management system, through which organic fertilizer is prepared by biological recycling of waste. In this project, organic waste, such as grass, leaf litter, food waste, etc., is converted into good fertilizer with the help of vermicompost. This project is important from an environmental point of view because:
