Chief Minister - My Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme
The Maharashtra Government on June 28, 2024, approved the launch of the Maharashtra State’s “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin” scheme to promote economic independence of women in the state, improve their health and nutrition, and strengthen their decisive role in the family. Under this scheme, eligible women in the age group of 21 to 65 in the state of Maharashtra will be provided with a financial benefit of Rs. 1,500/- per month through DBT.
Eligibility
- Must be a resident of the state of Maharashtra.
- Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned and destitute women of the state and only one unmarried woman in the family.
- Minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 65 years.
- Beneficiary should have his/her own Aadhaar linked bank account
- Annual income of the beneficiary family should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
Required documents
- Name should be mentioned as per Aadhar card in Aadhar card application
- If residence certificate is not available, then any one of the following of the woman (15 years old ration card/15 years old voter ID card/birth certificate/school leaving certificate).
- If the woman was born in a foreign state, then any one of the following of the husband (15 years old ration card/15 years old voter ID card/birth certificate/school leaving certificate/residence certificate).
- Annual income - Must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs a) If you have a yellow or orange ration card, no income certificate is required. b) If you have a white ration card or no ration card, then annual income is Rs. 2.50 lakhs is required.
- In case of newlyweds, if her name is not mentioned on the ration card, the ration card of the newlywed husband with marriage certificate will be accepted as income proof.
- Bank account details (account should be Aadhaar linked).
- Guarantee and photo of the beneficiary woman
How to apply?
- For women who are unable to apply online, the facility of filling online / offline application will be available with Anganwadi Sevika/Supervisor/Chief Sevika/Setu Suvidha Kendra/Gram Sevika/Community Resource Person (CRP)/Asha Sevika/Ward Officer/CMM (City Mission Manager)/Municipal Balwadi Sevika/Help Desk Head/Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra. No fee will be charged for this application.
- The applicant's name, date of birth, address should be filled accurately as per Aadhaar card. Bank details and mobile number should be filled accurately.
