Beneficiaries: Women and all children in Anganwadi
Description: Health, nutrition and pre-primary education are provided through Anganwadi workers under the Integrated Child Development Service Scheme. For this, model Anganwadi centers are created, in which children are provided education and nutrition in a pleasant environment. Also, skill development training is provided to adolescent girls and women.
Nature of the scheme
- Including solar power sets, educational materials, e-learning, LED TV with USB port, Pen drive.
- Availability of chairs, tables, Swachh Bharat sets, water purifiers (without electricity) for children.
- Emphasis on exterior painting of the building, beautification, toilet repairs and cleanliness of the premises.
- The implementation of the scheme has started from the year 2018-19.
- Conversion of Anganwadis into model Anganwadis in self-owned buildings.
